Pea eggplant

Is this the one the Thai call makua phuang ("pea eggplant," "grape eggplant," or "jungle eggplant"), or is that Solanum trilobatum? Badagnani 06:34, 2 June 2007 (UTC) This berry is a common food source in Jamaica, 'susumba' is picked when they are green and sauted in a little oil or butter with onions and garlic, thyme, black pepper and a little salt. It is usually served as a side dish with ackee & salt fish. The taste is very irony and bitter, but strangely delicious. They sort of pop in your mouth.
