I checked the smurfs website and the only writers i saw in the credits is Pamela Ribon and Stacey Harmon. Don't believe me, check the website and go to cast and crew.

The names in the citation changed. If someone removes a citation or changes sourced content, it would be nice if they used an informative edit summary and/or left a note on the talk page. "Found it on the website" doesn't explain anything. "The official website conflicts with this citation, and the content in that source changed" or even just "the info changed, see official website" would be very helpful. Simply removing a citation looks like vandalism.
