If you look at the history of this page, it's about two different events. It was started last November (2016) for what was the Great Smog of Delhi then. But since, it has been rewritten for a similar event in 2017. Should changes be reverted to the 2016 edition, and a new page be started for the 2017 incident?
The page is still categorised under 2016 events (look at the foot of the page) which is perverse if it's about a 2017 incident. It should be reverted and renamed as 'Great smog of Delhi (2016)', and a new page, 'Great smog of Delhi (2017)', should be created.

I agree. The older information should be reverted and kept. Instead of 2 separate article of the 2016 and 2017 smog, we can cover both in this article itself.--

Should be discussed. Isn't that a completely artificial distinction? Smogs don't know what year it is. They don't disappear in December and return in January. It seems much more plausible to me that a bunch of 2016-related material that was deleted should be restored (if souceable) to cover the overall "great smog of Delhi" history. It's misleading for WP to suggest to the reader this is an issue that just appeared in 2017, and certainly don't need two+ articles about the same topic. —

This article was started in 2016 and has material related to that year. It shouldn't be removed, just to force it to something in 20147 if both events are notable. The option suggested below (Smog in Delhi) is far better and can provide a year by year history of major smog-related events. Ravensfire (

Another suggested title
Smog in Delhi is a title I would prefer. Delhi has had these smog issues multiple times over the recent years. This article can cover all of them.--
