A fact from Smithsonian Gardens appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 10 November 2012 ( check views). The text of the entry was as follows: Did you know... that the Smithsonian Gardens' orchid collection contains over 8,000 plants representing 256 genera?
