The article itself also says the number did not exist in Munich. Perhaps better to work with "The musicians paid for several phone number changes", which seems more likely to be true. Other comments: Newly enough translated, long enough, copied from German Wikipedia with attribution via import of history, no copyvio issues visible. Article needs a thorough copyedit before it can appear on the Main Page, though. Reference 7 (Freitag) seems to be a contributed blog, not a
WP:RS. Sourcing generally could be improved (what is the source for cover versions/only No. 1)? QPQ not needed. —
