Issue 1: The term "ศรี" (si) in Thai has various meanings according to the Royal Institute Dictionary 2011, including:
Sources (as 1, 2, 3, 4, etc) say the province's name means "hair-washing woman" (from ศรี si "woman" + สะ sa "to wash" + เกษ ket "hair") as the province was named after a woman in folklore (as depicted in the seal of this town) - just like Phnom Penh that was named after a woman in folklore. The term si in the name of the province is not the honorific śrī.
Whatever the term si would mean here, the statement in the article that it is the honorific śrī is a claim supported by no source and can thus be removed. A sketchy research shows me that the statement was added by Pawyilee ( talk · contribs) ten years ago and seems to be a self-speculation of the user, but any such statement should not be inserted without source.
Issue 2: If romanised according to RTGS, the term "ศรีสะเกษ" must be written "Si Sa Ket" (page 43). If you, WilliamThweatt ( talk · contribs), want to write "sisaket", you need to remove the RTGS template. As long as you put the RTGS template there, it can only be written "Si Sa Ket".
