Problem with his wifes
Hi ! Thomas is said to have married first a sister of the first Earl of Wicklow. It's impossible : the firts "earl" was... a countess ! Alice (1736-1807). The second earl, Robert Howard was born in 1757, when Thomas Molyneux was born in 1661 and died in 1733. Even the first VISCOUNT of Wicklow, Ralph Howard, was born in 1727. This first wife Margaret is thus a puzzle. However, the second wife, Catherine Howard, was the aunt of the first viscount of Wicklow... Who would have relevant infos about this alleged first wife ? Thanks a lot !

So then ? Do we modify the entry by just "killing" Margaret ? And may I do it myself ? (Jagellon is a nickname for Jack the Ripper)

Given that her description makes no sense and we have several presumably reliable sources that make no mention of any other wife than Catherine Howard that seems to be the reasonable thing to do.

If you have a similar problem in future, start on the talk page but it would also be worth mentioning your question on a Wikiproject talk page like
Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Ireland if the article talk page is not very active. If you don't get an answer you can also put a message on the help desk.

Merci guys for your answers. I've just edited the text. Margaret RIP... And by the way, I also edited
Sir Edward Knatchbull, 9th Baronet, whose daughter Beatrice was said to be by the first wife with the mention "unsure as to accuracy of this date, this would make Beatrice approximately 122 years old when she died." As a matter of fact, the only person who ever lived 122 years was my French fellow citizen Jeanne Calmant ! However Beatrice would being born before 1814 (death of her father's first wife) but she married on December 1st 1874 (Burkes Peerage). The whole context shows she can't come from the first wife, but from the second one (although Burkes also says first wife, but it wouldn't be the first error in this book...). I moved Beatrice to the second union, as well as her sister Eleanor (if from the first wife, she would have married at least 43 years old and would have died at least 99). Thanks als TSventon for your advice, I will proceed so. In this case I nevertheless continued here, as the page IS active ! And au revoir from France

Jagellon, to add to my previous post, you could also use
Template:Help me. I followed you here from the help desk and the other editor may well have done the same. Your edit looks fine, but an edit summary would have been helpful. I will check out Knatchbull shortly.
