Guys... we have a little problem, should we put all of the rank insignias from all the three services, or just choose from one of the three since they have the same insignias, albeit with different colours? - Seng Yew 12:37, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
There already are Army Specialist and Air Force Warrant Officer ranks uploaded. Let's use them as representative? Perhaps we can also upload some representative photographs of them worn? No. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, as well as overalls? I would suggest the navy page be merged here too. -- Rifleman 82 16:05, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
I thought they already eliminated that rank from the Army? Although I still see reservists wearing that rank... -- Seng Yew 09:03, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
Oops, my apologies. You are correct. The mindef page did not include it. However, I have seen soldiers wearing them, probably having been awarded these ranks a long long time ago. So, I believe the rank still exists though it is no longer being awarded. -- Rifleman 82 17:17, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
The points about the Officers/ Specialists creed is not on topic with the title " Singapore Armed Forces ranks"
I advice the removal of the section. Ndp2005goh 06:12, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
Thanks. -- Ndp2005goh 07:15, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
Whether or not members of the U.S. military are "integrated" into the civilian population is debatable. In addition the statement implies there is some some kind of "major military/civilian issues" in the United States. Im not sure what the author means by "major military/civilian issues". I'm assumeing they are refering to some kind of tension between the military and civil authorities or the civilian population. Besides very limited civil disobedience targeting recruiting offices (usually protesting the policies of the U. S.'s civilian leadership), there is no tension between the military and civilian population in the United States. Either way the contrast between U. S. military culture and it's interaction with civilians and Singapore's military needs to be better explained or left out completely. 152.121.16.60 ( talk)

The article says nothing about when this rank system was initiated. Upon independence? - BilCat ( talk) 06:58, 12 August 2011 (UTC)
