I found a book saying Sing Tao's headquarters was once relocated to Australia in 1980s then moved back circa 1986, as well as before the 1986 listing, the shares already listed in 1970s (certainly before the merger of three stock exchanges of Hong Kong in 1986). However, the book itself did not provide citation, so i don't incorporate the content to the wiki article. Hope someone made a followup and dig out citation.

After reading several years of news article from the search result, i suspected Synco (H.K.) Limited
Chinese: 新科製藥有限公司 was the pharmaceutical company that was owned by Sing Tao.
