A previous version of this page stated that the English term "GirlLove" had displaced 'shoujo-ai' in Japan. This is untrue; "girllove" is a euphemism (probably mostly English, although Google gives Polish the first hit) for what the Japanese would call rorikon.
The SAMPA pronunciation was also removed, being probably unnecessary. -- Aponar Kestrel 00:06, 2004 Jul 29 (UTC)
Considering that yuri is lesbianism, while shojoai is only concerning young women or girls, why should the two articles be merged? 132.205.15.4 02:50, 14 Oct 2004 (UTC)
I may be missing something, but why is the article called shojo-ai when it mainly talks about yuri? Mark 1 08:51, 8 Dec 2004 (UTC)
Further, does anyone want to rewrite the article so that it is about shojo-ai rather than yuri? If not, I'll move it back to yuri. Mark 1 10:09, 13 Dec 2004 (UTC)
Done, thanks. Mark 1 08:35, 17 Dec 2004 (UTC)
