risks?

I was wondering if there was any risk to concistant full intencity shaddow boxing. It's a big part of my speed and cardio training but I remember someone once telling me that doing it full speed was bad for the joints. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.21.23.172 ( talk) 07:57, 24 April 2007 (UTC). reply

can shadow boxing help build muscle —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.29.237.94 ( talk) 19:12, August 30, 2007 (UTC)

Well, I guess you shouldn't shadowbox if you haven't warmed up before... you could easily pull a muscle if you're unlucky. You probably won't build any muscles, but you might make the muscles more flexible. You could add a weight in both palms and then train to build up some muscles that are hard to reach otherwise.-- 84.217.113.151 ( talk) 02:28, 21 November 2007 (UTC) reply

I placed an unreferenced tag on the article since no sources are cited. I also added a cleanup tag. MastaFighta ( talk) 18:41, 24 November 2007 (UTC) reply
