The Scale Soaring article says records were set in Argentina, and I've repeated that here. It would be good to know more: official or unofficial, national or international, what sort of record etc. I've not managed to find any other mention in the sailplane, Flight archives etc. Scale Soaring do give the distance flown in one flight but don't say if it was a record.
