I had the pleasure of flying this aircraft at USAFA which is where it was almost exclusively flown.
The article didn't mention the crashes that plagued this aircraft and the testing at Edwards and air fences upgrades that were installed to correct the problems. I remember one crashed with TWO OFFICERS (no cadets) out in Jack's Valley. It would be an interesting footnote to this article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.39.115.252 ( talk) 06:04, 6 June 2011 (UTC)
I added the actual stated glide ratios from the USAF flight manual. My initial attempt to correct the entry from 29:1 down to its actual stated glide ratio. The change was rejected for some reason. I've re-made the change and included the cite to the USAF flight manual. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 38.101.173.242 ( talk) 20:04, 16 July 2012 (UTC)
