However, the Page on Minnie Freeman says "Minnie lost her legs to frostbite". Is it possible that these two stories have been confused? Or did both teachers lose their feet and/or legs to frostbite?

I have asked the editor who changed my edit to undo his or her edit. The quotation had the word "heavy" misspelled as "hevy," which is why the quotation had the "[sic]" in it; otherwise the sic is meaningless. Kdammers ( talk) 02:49, 25 December 2022 (UTC)
