Fire or fires?
There were six or seven major fires in San Francisco between 1848 (the beginning of the Gold Rush, which is when the transition from settlement to modern city took place) and 1852. It may make sense to eventually create a page with information on all of these early fires gathered in one place. This was the most destructive of the fires, so for now it has its own page.
