Often I have disagreed with the "too technical" tag, but here it's appropriate. This article should get reorganized. Michael Hardy ( talk) 22:36, 28 September 2018 (UTC)
- Completely agree. Rather than too technical, it is unnecessarily involved. The page should begin by discussing the sample mean of a scalar random variable. Txebixev ( talk) 17:38, 2 September 2020 (UTC)
