This article is really still just a disambiguation page. Since the superior and inferior salivatory nucleus already have articles of their own, the top half needs attention from a medical expert to fill it out. It also needs more current references to verify that this page isn't just an historical oddity, that the information is still current.

Hello
— Myk Streja - it was a disambiguation page to deal with the two similarly named items. This simply doesn't need to be a disambiguation page - two items one superior one inferior. Making a stub instead of a dab page makes things easier for linking and so on. Cannot understand your viewpoint. Historical oddity!!?? Best --

Perhaps I misunderstood what you meant by merge. Do you mean for this page to go away? If someone were to search for "Salivatory nuclei" without this page, how would that help? What should replace it?

The proposal means to merge the info from both pages to this the target page. This page name would remain and both types superior and inferior would link here. --
