– There are two footballers with this name, separated only by the double-dotted "ï" in the name of the Malian footballer. At this point one is just "footballer" and the other is "Senegalese footballer". One of them has "ï", the other has "i". Seems like disambiguation enough.

Oppose - with all respect to both footballers, the musician is WP:PRIMARY by a long margin. As the cover of
Soro (album) shows the
tréma is usually written to separate the vowels, both footballers are also written this way, so cannot be used for disambiguation. We already have a long disamb page at
Keita.

Oppose. I don't see how ï is anywhere near necessary disambiguation. The overwhelming
WP:PRIMARYTOPIC here considering the page views is the current
Salif Keita:
