The "History" and "Current Events" section is a bit mixed up. I suppose, as time grows, one could move the entries from the latter section to former, but they should not contain redundant information. I'll fix that now -- UsagiYojimbo 14:16, 29 Jun 2004 (UTC)
It might be a good project to update the year references to specifically point to Fußball-Bundesliga 1979/80, for example. -- UsagiYojimbo 13:30, 9 December 2005 (UTC)
Bischoff has been called up to the Portuguese national team (U-20), I changed his nationality.
-- Marco
He is having 2 passports (a German and a Portuguese passport aswell), that`s possible in the EU.

The squad is particularly obsolete. You`ll find an updated version at
http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vorlage:Navigationsleiste_Kader_des_SV_Werder_Bremen
The correct no.s can be found under:
http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Werder_Bremen#Aktueller_Bundesligakader
(can be used by a person, that isn`t understanding one German word, also)

The middled numbers of visitors for every year since 1963 can be found in the German article, in which the position reached in every year is given aswell. The syntax can simply be copied. 84.137.200.214 01:40, 1 July 2007 (UTC)
I put all the transfers on a new page ( List of German football transfers Summer 2008). It's easier to edit and keep track of that way. Kopfballungeheuer ( talk) 06:42, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
Hi, I'm from Germany and a Werder Bremen-fan. And the away-colours on the site aren't correct. It's the event trikot. the away-colours is the home one from the last season. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.16.103.61 ( talk) 17:21, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
Racaille Verte is a group of Ultras supporting Werder. It is not at all a general nickname for the club.
Hi, I am just wondering if the full team name is now Werder Bremen or SV Werder Bremen. I noticed previously it was SV Werder Bremen. This season, however, UEFA referred the team as "just" Werder Bremen (without SV). 203.28.214.36 ( talk) 00:54, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
Hi!
This article does not qualify as B-class for several reason. I changed the categorization accordingly.
*Trivia section is no-go for high quality articles. Much of the information should be moved to the history section
*The article is not well structured
**2006-07 season should go into the main history section; that one probably should be expanded and then get some subsections
**Notable players can easily be moved into the general Players section
**Notable Managers really should be renamed to Managers since 1963 (start of the Bundesliga); the format should probably be a table, too
**Club culture should incorporate much of the trivia section, especially Rivalries and Ultras
These are just a few suggestions. I hope they help. Regards, OdinFK ( talk) 10:09, 5 June 2009 (UTC)
Are you sure? I certainly never heard of this nickname before. It is the abbreviation for Bremen on German vehicle registration plates but as far as I know, never used to refer to the club. -- 217.227.72.1 ( talk) 11:53, 18 March 2010 (UTC)
HB means Hansestadt Bremen, there is no relation throw the club. —Preceding

I changed one club in the text. During the season 08 / 09 Bremen eliminated 2 Italian clubs from european championship: Ac Milano (1-1 / 2-2) and UDINESE CALCIO (3-1 / 3-3) NOT Inter Milano as there stood before. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 188.107.247.254 ( talk) 18:48, 26 September 2010 (UTC)
