The article is lacking a section on the history of the town. Given that Sélestat was a major centre of late-Middle Age/early Renaissance
Humanism, this is particularly regrettable.

Thank you for your vigilant eye! It was fun transcribing all the names the town once had: Scalistati, Slectistat, Sclezistat, Slezestat etc.--
