@ Sportsfan 1234: You reverted a number of changes to this page. Your changes make the article worse in a number of ways. First, your changes to the lead sentence violate WP:LEADSENTENCE. Also, you deleted a sentence from the lead stating this is the second time the men's tournament is held; this type of sentence is a standard component of international sports tournament articles, and there is no good reason to remove this accurate, relevant information. Additionally, you changed a verb tense from future to past, which doesn't make sense because the tournament is next year. Furthermore, you added a legend that refers to nonexistent content in a table. I don't see the point of any of these changes. The article was in much better shape before your revert, and should be restored.
And finally, it's not a good idea to revert others' changes without explanation. That's a clear violation of WP:BRD, and that's how edit wars get started. Barryjjoyce ( talk) 01:48, 17 October 2014 (UTC)
@
Sportsfan 1234: Again you have reverted changes without using the talk page or even leaving an edit summary. Read
MOS:BOLDTITLE, and read my comments above.

@ Sportsfan 1234: Did you read the link to MOS:BOLDTITLE that I provided for you? The guidance there is clear on this subject:
Links should not be placed in the boldface reiteration of the title in the opening sentence of a lead: [1]
The Babe Ruth Award is given annually to the Major League Baseball (MLB) player with the best performance in the postseason. ( Babe Ruth Award)
I also asked you a few hours ago to stop WP:EDITWARRING. Your response was to revert yet again shortly afterwards. I am going to ping an uninvolved editor @ Indech: who has edited the main Rugby sevens at the Pan American Games article. Hopefully the input of a neutral will help. If you insist on edit warring, I may report you. Barryjjoyce ( talk) 01:52, 7 December 2014 (UTC)
Hi, @ Barryjjoyce:. I only saw your message now. In my opinion all article titles should be boldfaced and linked to the general subject like you did and the way I've being doing since I joined Wikipedia 10 years ago. That's the pattern and IMHO, it should be respected. Indech ( talk) 20:10, 10 December 2014 (UTC)

User doesn't let me remove unnecessary content in the article. What is the point of leaving "Men's results" when there is already a subpage for that like all the millions of times multisport event articles are done??? Do I need to fill a form or something to make an edit now in Wikipedia?? Indech ( talk) 17:47, 12 July 2015 (UTC)
