There seems to be little diferentiation between Gabilondo's Ruby, and Ruby-type guns. Comments on the function, accuracy and reliability of the various Rubies are too general and annecdotal.I suggets that there be two headings to cover this. Gangerosa tested a Ruby for his book and got excellent accuracy using good quality ammunition.

I was unable to restrain myself and have completely rewritten this article. I am also correlating three different lists to generate the one used in the article (not finished yet). I suspect some of the entires may refer to post-WWI ruby types and will indicate this with footnotes. The picture, by the way is not a Gabilondo Ruby, but an "Cebra" as indicated by the filename, so I changed the caption. Please let me know what you think.

I think that's fantastic!! I ended up editing this article because of a grammatical error, if I recall correctly, and one thing led to another... needless to say, I had no real familiarity with the subject material, beyond what I found on the web in the course of improving the article. It's good to see it receive the attention of an expert.

The Ruby Pistol was made for France but did NOT originate in France
If you have documentary evidence that the Ruby pistol was not a Spanish product, please post it HERE rather than editing the page continually, otherwise you may be reported for vandalism
Si vous avez de preuves que le pistolet Ruby ne etait PAS un produit Espagnol, SVP discutez vos preuves ICI. Ne changez pas le article continualment, si non vous courez le rique de etre denonce pour vandalisme.
