Historic designation
I am very pleased that Roosevelt Elementary was able to be placed on the historic registry. As a 1999 graduate of Roosevelt, I was quite shocked that the school was not on the registry during that time. As time passed, more and more of the South Tampa community became aware of this. Again, I am most certainly pleased that this process was able to be completed, as the school holds a lot of historical value.
