ASHRAE refers to this subject as Space Air Diffusion.[1] I propose we change the title of this article to reflect its formal name. I propose that myself or someone else make this change 14 days from today.

Well ... actually 'room air distribution' is the more common usage these days. The 'distribution' portion is more general than 'diffusion' -- included is not only the movement of air within the 'spaces' and the air terminals, but also the last portions of the ductwork (e.g., often flex) and the terminal units. It is recognized that the performance of this portion of the HVAC system is interdependent on all these components. So, for an encyclopedia entry, which is typically somewhat general, 'room air distribution' is best. But these differences could be explained in the article, and 'space air diffusion' could redirect to this article, for example.

Ok, I accept your clarification FAF. As it seems you're working from more current publications than I am. I appreciate the redirect as I was a bit hung up when I couldn't find a related article on the subject of Space Air Diffusion. I withdraw my intent to change the article name. What do you think of the changes I made to the article? It would be nice to have some jet diagrams.
