Most people would probably forgive mentioning Hong Kong separately but Shanghai is only ever a part of China and not another country. Admittedly I did use Google Maps to check this, I might have reached a different conclusion if I had used Apple Maps :) — Preceding

I see what you mean, although some publications used the word nosedive and it's probably not an unfair characterization. I've rewrote it to be more fact-based: "He was responsible for a major rebrand of J. C. Penney, which later led to company shares declining 51% and his firing in 2013."
