Please note that many sections of verifiable information on Hilburn were deleted by administrator Diannaa. You will be able to check her edits by pressing the history function. Among some of her inappropriate deletions was to remove the fact that Hilburn had a 36 year tenure with the LA times. She made 12 or so edits (on other pages) in retaliation for a correct edit that was made to Sean Combs page. In doing so she wiped out key information on the pages of any individual whose page had been edited by the the present author. As I was the one who made a minor edit to the Combs page by correcting misinformation about an LA Times retraction that occurred on April 7, as opposed to March, and which did not implicate Combs according to the April 7th retraction, Diannaa targeted any articles to which I had contributed.
Among the details she deleted on Hilburns page was that he had a 36 year history with the LA Times. (I was able to get this part reinstated before she blocked me) His tenure there is an undisputed fact. For other changes she made on August 21 to 22 you can also simply press "history" of the Hilburn page on those dates (August 21 to august 22) to see which facts Diannaa defaced. If you object to these, file a complaint against Wikipedia administrator Diannaa. The spelling of her name must be completely accurate. Please ask the administrative committee to undo all the changes she's made on this page, In addition, you can file a more general complaint against her, as she has special power as an administrator at Wikipedia, asking Wikipedia to revoke her special privileges . Staff should examine her edits from August 21 to August 22 76.89.155.100 ( talk) and revert to prior versions 76.89.155.100 ( talk) —Preceding undated comment added 14:39, 25 August 2012 (UTC)
His own bio here says he freelanced for them for four years before being hired on as full-time pop critic in 1970. So where did the 1969 thing come from? I don't see why we shouldn't change the sentence to reflect this and source it to his self-published bio, as it's an uncontroversial fact.— alf laylah wa laylah ( talk) 21:07, 22 February 2014 (UTC)

I suggest mining the LA Times for his reviews, and linking them to this article. I offer two examples. @ ChrisMorris333: what do you think? -- evrik ( talk) 20:27, 4 May 2020 (UTC)
