If it helps, he's the only Robert Hall I've personally heard of, so I guess prominence is hugely subjective. Isn't he here because he's the earliest of some note? I think the article could be improved and his relevance better described (e.g. there's at least one church named after him) - I think this is mainly an old encyclopedia entry. I've no problem with him being disambiguated but don't particularly think another deserves his place instead.
