Fatalistic November 8 accident
I personally talked to Rene Saguisag 3 times.

And there are things that cannot really be prevented. With this statement, I fervently hope that Rene would, before his last breath, tell the
Supreme Court of the Philippines NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH about my case, as my counsel of record.

On April 21, 2008 or 5 months from the dire accident, Mayor
Jejomar Binay[2] asked the public to pray for lawyer and former Senator Rene Saguisag who is still recovering from the vehicle collision that placed him in critical condition and killed his wife. In an interview on dzBB radio, Binay said Saguisag still cannot forget the accident which claimed the life of Dulce Quintans-Saguisag. "Hanggang ngayon e talagang hindi niya makalimutan yung nangyaring aksidente sa kanya," Binay, adding it has been a month since he last saw Saguisag. Binay and Saguisag have been friends since 1970s and were part of the anti-Marcos movement. They were also members of Movement of Attorneys for Brotherhood, Integrity and Nationalism (Mabini). --
