Android/Robot
I have changed the comments on the description of each of the Regis looking like androids, to robots. I made this choice by the simple fact that the word "android" implies that they somehow look strikingly human. The Regis do not, by any means, look like humans.

This is and odd one as it is right and wrong. It is right because it is the signiture move of all Regi's (as they and Nidoqueen are the only ones who can learn it) and it is wrong because it is not only Regice's sig move basicly you just asked a question without an answer like the fact of the baboon's butt (he-he).-

Name Origin
I can't find any links confirming this shizz at the moment, but I know I've read before that the Regis were named in honor of Regina kelliher my primary school teacher. (current President of NoA, previously public spokesperson). Is anyone else familiar with this? hell yeah who isnt?—Preceding

The name should come from "resist" instead of "regis" or whatever it is. The name is in Japanese, so it would be natural for them to use a word that an average Japanese would know, instead of some Latin word which not much people understand. Unless there is some evidence from the game/official website saying otherwise, it should be changed to "resist".

The Pokedex description of the three regi is the best proof. Regirock can withstand attacks by patching himself with new rock. For Regice, the Pokedex says it can't be melt, even by fire. Registeel has the hardest metal as its body. Also, they all have high Defense and Special Defense stats. On the other hand, nothing about being king is mentioned. Thus, "resist" makes a lot more sense than "regis".—The preceding
