Closure
I've been unable to find an actual date of closure thus far. Reasons for closure may include the opening of Manston to civil aircraft, and the establishment of Pegwell Bay Hoverport in 1968/69. Thus far I've been unable to confirm either.

Not related to the above but there's a link to a 1952 news article on the re-opening of Ramsgate Airport after the war, in Flight here:
[1] BTW, the first post-war airline to operate from there was Air Kruise — Preceding

Ref to Ostend Airport
I've changed the redlink to Ostend-Stene Airport to point to Ostend–Bruges International Airport - that at least has a mention of the former airport.
