In the next week, I'm going to start re-writing the page. I think the "Timeline" section should go away, and the information that's there should be incorporated into paragraphs, rather than a long bullet point list of news items. If anyone has a strong opinion on this, please let me know. I have some new sources- I found some issues of "Railway Magazine" from 1964 and 1966 for sale on Ebay that have articles on Nigerian rail transport history that I'll incorporate here as well. The article states that "The NRC network does not yet connect to the rail network of neighboring states. However, in February 2021, construction began on a cape-gauge link from Kano to Maradi, the second-largest city in Niger,...". But the map shows that the link between Kano and Maradi will be standard gauge...which is correct? Teixant ( talk) 00:09, 10 January 2022 (UTC)
