At present we have two articles covering the hybrid Quercus cerris × Q suber. One is this article, under the current name Quercus × crenata, and the other is under its old name Quercus × hispanica Lam. The name Quercus × hispanica Lam. now applies to a different plant: Quercus faginea × Q suber. I propose that the current Quercus × hispanica article is merged into this article ( Quercus × crenata), and a new article is placed at Quercus × hispanica covering the other hybrid (with of course a link back to here).
