"By Royal Warrant of 13 December 1886, the Queen granted their children the style Highness, although not the title of Prince/Princess.[10]"
The children were born prince or princess. The Queen didn't need to grant that title. This statement makes it sound like the Queen withheld that, but she didn't. There was no need to grant the title of prince or princess because they already had/would have it.
