A previous version said, "In 1929, she was acquired by the Streckfus Company which briefly continued her use as a packet boat but then laid her up, until 1932." This sentence and the entire paragraph lacked an inline citation. I can provide two sources for a different year of sale (1933), and a source for the rest of the paragraph.
