I see no evidence that the repeated move to "Hispaniolan giant tarantula" conforms to WP:AT. The source given is a blog, which is not acceptable as a reliable English-language source, as required.
Furthermore, "Phormictopus cancerides" gets about 18,900 hits for me, "Hispaniolan giant tarantula" gets about 10,500, so the scientific name appears to be the most commonly used.
