What about phonological awareness in non-verbal languages such as American Sign Language? Can we add a section about it to this article? I'm brand new to wikipedia, so be gentle. :) Thanks for your response.

Major Revisions
Hi. I would like to make a number of major revisions that I think would improve this article. Specifically:
Adding a section on the development of phonological awareness
Reorganizing the article into an overview/definition section, a Development of Phonological Awareness section, and Phonological Awareness in Education section.
Adding citations throughout
The Wikipedia help page says "A major edit should be reviewed to confirm that it is consensual to all concerned editors."
Wikipedia:How_to_edit_a_page
So any thoughts about the above changes let me know!
