Unsourced claims

I have tagged some claims with {{ who says}}. We can take the non-independent source scentconcerts.com for the uncontroversial factual information that de Cupere invented the olfactiano. We cannot take the superlative claim that this was the first without a reliable source, independent of de Cupere, saying so. Similarly, the article must not describe him in Wikiipedia's voice as "the most prolific and proactive [anything] in the world": we could quote an independent reliable published source that says this, but unless we do so, it must not appear. I have tagged them and explained this, Peterdc2, rather than just removing them, in order to explain my reasons more fully. -- ColinFine ( talk) 14:48, 7 July 2017 (UTC) reply
