We really need a better video than this one. Something simpler with the party horn shown more prominently than the person blowing it.

Yes, a History section would be delightful—unless these classic devices quickly became so ubiquitous that their origins were lost in the Mists of Time.
If it were up to me, I'd also have a section on the social benefits of keeping a party horn on one's person, for the purpose of responding to absurd statements. I can't possibly be the only one here who finds that useful. –

I'm not sure about 'the mists of time' BUT in the 1950s they had a specific name. I don't recall what that name was, BUT it was not anything to do with 'party'. I suspect it had something to do with, 'unfurling 'in as much as that is what it did.

Related article—Air Handler?
Sure, they both involve air—but can someone tell me why large mechanical devices such as
air handlers should be so associated with party horns as to be considered a related topic? Maybe it was someone's idea of a joke? I'm tempted to add a link to
French horn... At least they're curly. –
