Acanthizinae or Acanthizidae?

Rewritten

This article should be rewritten as its only supports the Sibley & Ahlquist taxonomy which is not supported by all taxonomists, see Hoyo et. al. Handbook of the Birds of the World 12 for reference -- Melly42 ( talk) 14:18, 18 November 2007 (UTC)). reply

I second this. It should be looked at by an expert on the Pardalotidae and Acanthizidae. The taxonomy is very confused. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.36.120.150 ( talk) 22:20, 3 August 2008 (UTC) reply

HBW 12 is about the Acanthizidae and HBW 13 is about the Pardalotidae. HBW 13 was published this week. So someone who owned this book yet could rewrite the article. I have to wait until November until i got my copy of HBW 13 -- Melly42 ( talk) 10:18, 25 October 2008 (UTC) reply
Per HBW and the taxonomy we use now I have turned this into a redirect to the article Pardalote. The two are now synonymous, and for preference articles should sit at the common name. Sabine's Sunbird talk 07:50, 26 November 2008 (UTC) reply
