Clipper Definance vs. Flight 759
Changed references to flight as Clipper Definance to Flight 759 as applicable. Clipper Definance was the name of the aircraft that crashed, the flight itself would have been known as Flight 759 or by the
Pan Am airline call sign and flight number combination, Clipper 759 as used in the NTSB report.

As you may or may not know I was the user who added the expand Russian template. This edit was undone (see the reversion history for why). I want to re-add it, but this time, I need to hear from others.

As I mentioned to you on my talk page, the problem with their nationalities table being way off on the count for as long as it has been and no one noticing it, is indicative of the general lack of attention that article has been paid over the years. There is a great need to check vigorously anything which is brought from there to here. Besides the pilot information which was added, I'm not sure what else needs to be brought. If you could list it here first then we could all check on it to make sure it's alright to use. If we can agree to do that I'm not sure that the template is really necessary, because the template itself doesn't have the warning to check items on it, which it really needs to in this case. Expand from Russian
The reason I expanded this article was because the Russian version of it was a GA, while this version is just start class. With expansion, more information was given and in the future it could lead to the article being upgraded from start-class to a higher class.

It would be helpful if you could place the proposed text here on the talk page so that others could evaluate it before it's placed in the article. I know you and I have spoken before about the unique issues with the Russian language version (the miscount of the nationality table for instance). Another area which may not be followed very well is
WP:CLOSEPARAPHRASE, so I'd just like to ensure that local editors have a chance to check the text to make sure that there are no issues with these additions. It's not often that a foreign language Wiki is used to enhance a subject which occurred in the US, it's usually the other way around.[a] Regards, Spintendo14:51, 31 May 2019 (UTC)reply
