In 1985, ITT Community Development Corporation made the decision and agreement to utilize Garfield, the cartoon cat in massive marketing campaign across Florida.
More than 130 billboards were splashed across the state with Garfield wearing a variety of shirts & saying "Live the Good Life in Palm Coast." In addition to the billboards, print ads were distributed and sent in key areas across the nation. Along with billboards, printed ads, & tee shirts, ITT proudly gave a Garfield telephone whose eyes would open when the phone was answered, to every customer that purchased property in Palm Coast, Florida.

What is the procedure when an article is almost completely without references to support its claims? This seems to be the case here. I tried finding a source for the first City Manager but everything seemed to lead back to this very text. Gustav Benedictis ( talk) 10:46, 9 March 2021 (UTC)
Thank you for the invitation! I did find a few references for the background and founding and am sorting through them to add over the next few days. Gustav Benedictis ( talk) 10:01, 11 March 2021 (UTC)
