"Palisades del Rey" was the original name by the land developers. The name was later changed to Playa del Rey. The entire condemned and now vacant area of Playa del Rey did not have a specific name, per se. Instead, a part of it was referred to as "Surfridge." There wasn't a separate area of Playa del Rey called "Palisades del Rey".
Suggest changing the name of this page to either Surfridge (which now re-directs to this page), or, more accurately, "Condemned Area of Playa del Rey."
