I remember live action ads from the early 60s where a person wearing PF Flyers would be running and jumping. At one point in the ad the image would freeze and the ‘magic wedge’ would be highlighted in the heel of the shoe. This wedge was claimed to be one of the secrets to being able to ‘run faster & jump higher’. Anyone else remember this? Was it another company’s product (perhaps Keds)? Thought should be included in the article if a good source can be found.
