Redirect
English language Google for "Per-Johan Axelsson": 17,800 hits.
English language Google for "P.J Axelsson": 68,000 hits.
I hardly think that's enough basis for using abbreviation in the article title. Using all languages search gives a more even result, though still advantage for PJ. Hockey related searches gives more hits for AO then Alexander Ovechkin, does that mean we should move Alexander Ovechkin to AO? --

That's a straw man argument. Since this is the English Wikipedia, I'm quite unconcerned with how other languages render Axelsson's name, and I'm sure the corresponding Wikipedias do so in whatever form is most common in their particular languages without our interference. The plain fact, and the overwhelming consensus Wikipedia-wide, is that article names here correspond to the most commonly used and readily recognizable version of that name in English. "Robert Hull," "Cameron Neely," "Leonard Kelly" and "Terence O'Reilly" don't even have redirects, while "Gordon Howe" redirects, "Robert Orr" hits a disambiguation page, and, oh, "Jean-Claude Tremblay" redirects to "J.C. Tremblay."

If what you are arguing is that "AO" is the most common English-language rendering of his name, sure, go ahead, knock yourself out.
