No info in the usual places on the Orlik II or Orlik IIZK apart from the register; there might be something in JAWA 1965 but I don't have access to this. Anything on differences between VT-16 and VT-116 would be helpful, as would production numbers of latter. TSRL ( talk) 10:25, 12 January 2014 (UTC) reply

There is an article in the German WP, where it's called the LET VT-16 Orlik and states that 220 VT-116s were built, after a first flight in 1964. Its specs don't look very different from the VT-16. I've seen no other suggestion that LET took over either production or Orlican but it may well be so. Their source is a German mag article which may be hard to find.
