From the ref, added that this was a Cherokee Native American traditional herbal, and added a ref that clarifies there are several plants called "snakeroot." There is no science literature that Samson's snakeroot or extracts thereof have any health benefits from topical application or oral consumption, but no good way to add a lack-of-evidence statement.
