I do not understand your attitude you had chose on the "edit war" in article Operation Virginia Ridge. I currently work on the article of Major general Wilbur F. Simlik, which I will finish today I hope. I created a link on this future article, but you had reverted my edit as unsourced and you were correct. I had put that link again with a source and you reverted it again with explanation that source is already there.
Isn't it better and more constructive just repair the format of the source, than reverted it again? I would like to establish more productive cooperation than this one. AntonyZ (talk) 12:18, 22 December 2019 (UTC)
User:AntonyZ you need to follow
WP:Citing sources, subsection 5.1.2. The Smith reference was already there, all you needed to do was add [1] with the page number, which you still haven't provided, its not my obligation to look this up for you. Also the page is drafted in dmy format so don't use mdy format. Ranks are not repeated. The change of command shouldn't be in background which precedes the start of the operation. I have fixed the errors, you still need to provide the page number. regards
