Hi Editors,
I want to make some changes to the OKCupid page. Can you help? I’ve listed them below with citations.
Can we update the logo on the page? It should be
https://cdn.okccdn.com/media/img/hub/mediakit/okcupid_app_icon_circle.png . See our media kit that we also use for the Apple App Store and social media channels. Let me know if I need to update the logo.
Can we add Ariel Charytan as our new Chief Executive Officer, both to company history and the infobox? Citations are
https://www.datingnews.com/movers-and-shakers/okcupid-ceo-ariel-charytan-has-a-distinguished-record-of-entrepreneurism/ and
https://www.wharton.upenn.edu/story/5-online-dating-trends-from-okcupid-ceo/ .
Can you add this line to our history, after the line ending with “more inclusive”? In September 2018, OkCupid became the first and only leading dating app to create a dedicated space on profiles for LGBTQ daters to share their pronouns, and expanded that feature to all users in July 2020. Citations are
https://www.fastcompany.com/90235063/okcupid-launches-a-pronoun-feature-to-better-serve-gender-non-conforming-users ,

https://www.cosmopolitan.com/sex-love/a33217896/okcupid-pronoun-feature-launch-2020/ and
https://mashable.com/article/okcupid-pronouns-for-all-users .
Can you add these lines at the end of our history section? “In June 2020, OkCupid released “stacks,” a feature that allows app users to view and sort matches based on categories including nearby, online, questions pros, recommended and match percentage. Paid users can additionally sort by new people and popular people.” Citations are

After that line, can you add, “In May 2021, the company launched a monthly blog series, called Dating Data Center, which shares data from OkCupid matching questions and responses. In that same month, OkCupid found that daters, coming out of the 2019 Coronavirus Pandemic, were looking for long-term relationships, negating the commonly-held theories of a “hot vaxxed summer” in which daters were looking exclusively for causal relationships.” Citations are
https://www.globaldatinginsights.com/news/okcupid-creates-dating-data-center-to-analyse-current-trends/ and
https://mashable.com/article/post-pandemic-dating-sex-dating-app-survey .
At the end of the section, after May 2021, can you add “In June 2021, OkCupid expanded identity options for LGBTQ+ users, with more 60 identity options, including 20 sexual orientations and 22 gender options.” Citations are
https://www.businessinsider.in/advertising/brands/news/this-pride-month-okcupid-releases-over-60-identities-for-lgbtq-users/articleshow/83803061.cms and
https://www.cnet.com/news/okcupid-offers-lgbtq-daters-more-ways-to-identify-themselves/ .
Thank you. Let me know how I can help.

Hi Editors,
I want to make some changes to the OKCupid page. Can you help? I’ve listed them below with citations and reformatted to make this easier to follow.
Can we update the logo on the page (in the infobox)? It should be
https://cdn.okccdn.com/media/img/hub/mediakit/okcupid_app_icon_circle.png . See our media kit that we also use for the Apple App Store and social media channels. Let me know if I need to update the logo.

https://www.wharton.upenn.edu/story/5-online-dating-trends-from-okcupid-ceo/ .
Done in both. Only used the first source, as it has appointment.
Can you add this line to our history, after the line ending with “more inclusive”? https://mashable.com/article/okcupid-pronouns-for-all-users .
Done , with rewrite. "Leading" is too POV.

I'll take a look. Need to dive into the cites. At first glance, unsure about the logo, but the rest seem easy. --

Hey
LeannaTruong , a few done. Still looking at logo. --

Partly done: :@
LeannaTruong : We cannot
hotlink your logo. You have few options: If the logo does not meet
Commons:Threshold of originality , upload it to
Wikimedia Commons with a description saying so. If the logo does meet
Commons:Threshold of originality , upload it to
Wikipedia with a detailed and complete
fair use rationale . If you are willing to publish the logo under a
compatible license , upload it to
Wikimedia Commons with appropriate licensing information. If you opt to do this, make sure you understand the legal implications since Creative Commons licenses are irrevocable. Once you've opted for one of these, and uploaded the logo, reopen this request and give us the file name and we'll be happy to add it.

Finished the rest, but agree with
Melmann on logo. Can you ping us,
LeannaTruong , if you are able to add the logo to Commons? For now, however, I'll mark as done.--

Are you sure this paragraph is correct?
[[OkCupid#cite note-37:~:text=In addition the Live Streaming Service was introduced, this includes agreement by OkCupid users to the Terms and Conditions of The Meet Group, Inc which allows for data to be shared between other dating sites and with other Meet Group users.[37] This was silently removed in July, 2022.]]
OkCupid is owned by Match Group, not Meet Group (a separate social media company with its own portfolio of IPs that have no relation to OkCupid).
