I fixed incorrect quote from the source, which claimed that Azeris expelled Udis from the district, while Udis still live there. In fact, the source quoted by Vartan says:
About half of the population at the time was Christian (Armenian and Udins), and the other half was Muslim. In the 1860s, a total of 190 Jewish families lived in Vartashen. Following a conflict in the late l980s, the Azerbaijanis expelled the Armenians from Vartashen and changed the name of the village to Oguz.
