Does this article actually need to be entitled "Offical Opposition Shadow Cabinet (South Africa)"? Wouldn't a title like "Shadow Cabinet (South Africa)" be sufficient? I mean, isn't the shadow cabinet by definition organised by the official opposition? - htonl ( talk) 19:24, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
I notice while editing the bios the large proportion of DA Members of Parliament that have their own wikipedia pages. Compare this with ANC MP:s, where usually only noteworthy or or more well-known people (such as ministers) get their own pages.
I think only the most prominent DA caucus members should have their own pages, and the rest of them could be deleted and content moved to a joint page titled "Democratic Alliance Members of Parliament" or some such. -- Darthdyas ( talk) 19:48, 30 June 2013 (UTC)
The DA calls themselves "the official opposition", but is there, officially, such a designation in South Africa? It's not mentioned in the constitution, for example. Is it mentioned in the rules of Parliament, perhaps? -- Taejo| 대조 12:31, 17 April 2014 (UTC)
The content of Template:South African Shadow Cabinet and this article are different. Maybe someone who is comfortable editing templates can fix this? 154.119.253.195 ( talk) 10:26, 16 March 2018 (UTC)
This article is severely out of date, or is the situation different for coalition government? Roger (Dodger67) ( talk) 09:08, 8 July 2024 (UTC)
